Ningqi Wu is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Mental Health Professional. She attended Gonzaga University for her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, where the program emphasized clinical training, personal growth, group facilitation, applied theories, child and adolescent counseling and multicultural counseling. She received dialectical behavioral therapy training through PESI, is certified through the Evergreen Institute, and is a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has received trainings in suicide assessment, crisis intervention, emotionally focused therapy, substance use treatment, and psychological first aid.
Ningqi believes that people are trustworthy, resourceful, capable of self-understanding and self-direction, able to make constructive changes, and able to live effective and productive lives. She strives to provide a warm and welcoming environment and to be emotionally ready with an open mind for all patients. She uses an evidence-based approach to help people establish treatment goals, and develops an equal and collaborative relationship throughout the process. She maintains a positive, caring attitude at all times and strikes an effective balance between past, present, and future, with the focus fitting to the individual’s needs, strengths, and struggles.
In her professional life, Ningqi works with the refugee population, multicultural families, international students and the LGBTQ+ community. In her personal life, she advocates for social justice issues in order to protect the human rights of the most vulnerable, as well as to promote the importance of mental healthcare for those who are affected by injustice and marginalization. She is proud of her developed ability to adapt to different cultural environments and build trust with people who have very different backgrounds from my own. Ningqi is culturally and linguistically fluent in Mandarin and English.
Dr. Abouesh is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He graduated from medical school in Cairo, Egypt, and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Virginia and a forensic fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Abouesh has been involved in multiple psychiatric research studies, published articles in peer review journals, and presented at numerous scientific conferences in the United States. He holds memberships in the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association and other professional organizations.
Psychiatrists like Dr. Abouesh form the backbone of the care at Therapeutic Solutions. His excellence in the field allows him to serve patients of all backgrounds and diagnoses. Our team is proud to call Dr. Abouesh a teammate and a colleague.
Dr. Ittner attended Western University of Health Science for his doctorate in osteopathy. Over the years, Dr. Ittner has helped thousands of patients struggling with various conditions. He finds the challenges in his job extremely compelling and always seeks to provide interpersonal support to his patients. Dr. Ittner aims to give his patients guidance on their path to good mental health and instill hope in their future.
When patients come to Dr. Ittner, they get a kind, patient listener who sees through façades and works closely with them to overcome their obstacles. He believes mental health care is a team approach, which includes the patient getting a seat at the decision-making table.
Dr. Ittner finds it a pleasure to practice psychiatry. He loves that it is always challenging and never boring to him. He believes it is his purpose as a guide to help people towards a mental health state that aligns with their ultimate goals. He values creating connections with patients and helping them find a purpose even when life can seem purposeless.
Dr. Ittner approaches problems from an internal view of working with his outlook and an external approach of medicines, providing multifaceted care.
Lynn J. Gamble is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with 40 years of experience in the mental health field. She attended Pennsylvania State University for her bachelor’s degree in nursing, Duquesne University for her master’s degree in nursing and her Post Master Certificate in forensic nursing, and Drexel University for her Post Master Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
She holds RN and NP licenses in California, Idaho, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and has ANCC certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Registered Nurse. She is a member of the International Association of Forensic Nursing, National Association of Black Nurses, and American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Ms. Gamble has worked with developmentally delayed individuals, adolescents mental health, adult mental health, geriatric mental health, forensic population with mental health and restoration to competency individuals, and sexually assaulted individuals. When treating patients, she always lets them know she cares for their wellbeing, and that she is there to assist in their mental health healing journey and process.
Jasmine Madera attended California State University, Chico and received a bachelor’s degree in child development before attending San Diego State University and receiving a master’s degree in early childhood mental health.
Jasmine has worked with children of all ages ranging from 0-18. Before becoming a part of the Therapeutic Solutions team, she was a residential counselor at a level 12/14 residential treatment center for children in San Diego. While continuing to work there, she also worked at Rady Children’s Hospital providing therapy to children ages 0-5. After moving back to the Chico area, she continued to work with families and children providing individual and family therapy.
Jasmine is focused primarily on trauma in children.
