Our Substance Abuse Therapy is for individuals struggling with addiction who are ready to begin the road to recovery. This intensive substance abuse therapy outpatient program helps patients overcome their chemical dependency, while continuing to work or be home with their families.
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is a type of substance abuse treatment program that does not rely on detoxification or hospitalization. The program is a form of substance abuse rehabilitation in which patients visit a treatment center several days a week for a few hours at a time. It is also more time-intensive than most standard outpatient programs, resulting in a greater chance for sustained recovery.
Substance Abuse Therapy may be used as a “step down” from a full-time rehab facility or after discharge from a hospital, or as a “step up” for patients who want to commit to a greater level of support as they manage their addiction. Patients may also choose our program as an alternative to a full-time rehab facility.
In this program, you’ll address all the aspects of your addiction, from the physical to the psychological. You’ll benefit from services such as outpatient detoxification and medication support to prevent relapses, as well as family therapy and education on recover to support you at home. Patients also benefit from the opportunity to share their stories and exchange ideas in group settings with others who are also learning to manage addiction.
